Take a break!  This rustic southern Free State town on the northern banks of Lake Gariep (on the Lake !Xhariep Tourism Route), and about 90 minutes’ drive from Bloemfontein, is also the ideal dorp to take time out and stay over for longer, discovering all the treasures (attractions and activities, some of which will be revealed to you in these pages, for winding down, breathing fresh clean air (getting rid of that irritating sinusitis!), experiencing nature, beautiful sunsets, feeling and drinking in the quiet and calm, rediscovering the soul and getting to find yourself….. what an incredible experience.
